Anybody ever worry about dirty shutdowns of the RPI? There is a switch on the OSPI board but that does not do a clean shutdown of the OS.

This looks like it can be installed between the RPI and the Sprinkler pi power supply with a button in the case? It allows for soft shutdown sends (sync and halt) with a button and LED indicator. I would use the headers and not the USB power . There are lots of power input and output options

Or am I too paranoid ? Anybody tried it? (You can also fuse this).

For now I keep a backup of my SD and send all says logs to /dev/null.

Thanks for sharing. I haven’t considered adding a soft power down button on OSPi. Personally I haven’t encountered a case where a hard power down causes SD card crash or something. I agree that adding soft power-down is an interesting feature to consider. It won’t help when there is a power break though.
