    Hi all
very interesting project and I just checked the eagle files and exported the bill of material for hardware version 2.2 with the LM2596 regulator.
Unfortunately some part data is missing or most probably not correct:

    Fuse F0
    recommended value?

    IC2
part number is missing, most probably it is LM1117 but is not available as SOT23 package (as referenced in the BOM) – any other recommended type?

    L2
“Bead” – any recommended value? any mouser P/N reference?

    T1 to T8
is most probably MAC97 type as BT1308W is not available in a TO-92 package?
    Could anybody confirm this?

    V1-V8
MOV/ Varistors – any recommended part number/ mouser reference P/N?

    Thanks a lot.
    Best Regards
    Patrick

F0: we use 2A fuse, but anything above 1A should work fine, the exact value doesn’t matter

    IC2: yes, LM1117-33 (3.3V LDO)

L2: http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/EXC-ELSA35/P9820BK-ND/44717 (I think 2.2 uses SMD bead, and the link on the left is through-hole, but you can find equivalent SMD version, the size is 0805).

T1 to T8: MAC97 works fine (you are right that BT1308W only exists in SMD form)

    V1-V8: we use 7D560K

The closets bead I can find to the ELSA35 TH part in a 0805 package is BLM21PG600SN1D: FERRITE BEAD, 0.02OHM, 3.5A, 0805. http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/BLM21PG600SN1D/490-1053-1-ND/584500.

Do you think this will work?

    Thanks

Yes, this works fine. There is no strict requirement for the bead: most that are 0805 sized, impedance 50 to 120 ohm (@100MHz) should work fine. Perhaps the datasheet of ENC28J60 provides more specific details.

    Hi
what purpose does the series varistor serve here?
(as the max continuous voltage of the varistor seems to be far higher than the abs. max gate voltage for the triac (5v)).
    thanks

Which is the series varistor you are referring to? The varistors are all connected in parallel with each valve output and ground. They are not connected to any triac gate.
