    Dear Team,

I tried to setup an rf station, where I used a receiver with basic arduino program “ReceiveDemo_Advanced” for sniffing my original RF switch
the output was a decimal, 27bit binary, pulse length & protocol 5

The opensprinkler 2.1 (2.1.5 firmware) has been equipped with a transmitter
I calculated the decimal number into hexa and I created a station as given in youtube video ‘Tutorial: Use OpenSprinkler with RF Remote Power Sockets’

after starting the station I received
the same number in decimal, almost same pulse length but 24bit binary & proto 1

it is possible to configure opensprinkler to support rf with 27bit proto 5 ?

    tnx

The OpenSprinkler firmware currently only supports protocol 1, which is the most common type of protocol for RF power sockets. If you want to support other protocols, like 5, you will need to modify the OpenSprinkler firmware.

    Hi Ray,

I have the same problem and just found this… I’ll start looking for where to change that, which I already have. While I’m searching again, could you tell me where it is? I’m sure already that i won’t find it.

    Thanks,
    Jerry

    Found it…..
