SMD Component Sizes

Hi, I’m looking at building my own OS v3.2. I found a couple posts regarding BOM files and such, but I can’t tell what size to get for many of the components. It looks like some of the links point to 1206, but I can’t seem to find parts in that size easily, whereas I can find 0603 just fine. It would be helpful if I had a solid reference to go by. Does it matter what size even? Thanks.

If you install Eagle CAD software, you can open the circuit files and check the property of each component, which contains the SMD size.
