Today I arrived home to see my sprinklers going. That was strange because I don’t have any programs set to run after 8am or before 10pm. When I check the time on the device, it says Sun, 10 Feb 2036 22:16:19 GMT-6:00. I’ve experienced this once before, but thought it a fluke. Running 2.0.5 on a 2.0 device. It’s wired into my motorola SBG6580

Any suggestions on how to correct?

I’m having a similar problem. With NTP sync on the system time shows as one hour fast. I have turned NTP sync off, rebooted, manually changed the time, turned NTP sync back on, rebooted. The time still changes back to 1 hr fast.

@rhldr: sounds like a problem with the RTC. To check whether it’s a problem with the NTC sync result or RTC, you can go to the Options page, turn off ‘NTP sync’, and set a time manually. Then see if the time drifts significantly (it will probably drift a few minutes over a few days, that is normal). If the time is significantly off, then it’s an RTC problem; if not, it’s a problem with incorrect NTP sync result.

: check the time zone settings. Because OpenSprinkler doesn’t automatically detect day light saving time, you will need to manually change the time zone settings to account for DST.
