s3v3n7w0ParticipantHi all,
Thanks for the great support.
I recently setup my unit and set a day of the week schedule with a start time set to sunrise.
The first time at bat the system, the sprinklers started as expected.
However, on the next scheduled day, it did not start automatically. I checked my settings and all looked okay to me.
I decided to delete the program and recreate it. Unfortunately, it still failed to start automatically.
I was wondering if anyone can provide some guidance on some logs or troubleshooting tips to diagnose this issue?
Best regards.

SeanParticipantIs your program enabled?
Have you enabled Weather Adjustment for your program? If so, turn it off. Did the next scedule work? If so, either your location setting needs checking or the weather algorithm decided that you don’t need to water.
What does the Weather Diagnostic say? This can be found in the menu on the left.
Click the floating menu icon in the lower right and select view logs. Change the log view to Table. Do you see an entry for the date that did not water? If so, how long does it say the zones watered?
Check Preview Programs from the floating menu. Does it look right?
Is there a red bar accross the bottom of the screen that says rain detected? If so, do you have a rain sensor connected? If not, do you have the Use Rain Sensor box checked in the weather control section of Options?

s3v3n7w0ParticipantHi Sean,
Thanks for your response.
I’ve confirmed that the program is enabled.
Weather adjustment is unchecked.
Weather diagnostics report the current values.
The view logs table does report the last several entries for when it watered, however, these watering intervals where triggered by a manual ‘Run Program’ from the Edit Programs page. I did the last several times when I realized that the program was NOT starting up automatically.
The preview programs for the next scheduled day looks right – I see a block of time for the 4 stations scheduled. If I advance the view to the next scheduled day, it shows the blocks starting a bit earlier to correspond to the Sunset start time parameter.
I’m not using a rain sensor, and while I have a weather underground key, the adjustment is set to manual and the % water is set to 100 (default).
From my view, everything looks right. As mentioned the first time it was scheduled to run everything ran fine. It’s only after the subsequent scheduled runs did it fail to start and required manual intervention to run the program.
Next scheduled run is tomorrow.
Is there any advise what I should be looking at in the event is does start up automatically tomorrow?
Regards,

SeanParticipantJust to make sure I understand correctly:
- the program is enabled and scheduled to run.
- the stations are enabled individually
- pin the program, there are times assigned to the stations
- the weather adj is off
- the rain sensor setting is off (you said you don’t have one but didn’t say the setting was disabled)
- And it is not watering and the log shows no automatic activity.
then…
i got nuthin.
Could you post your configuration export with the weather underground key removed so Ray or Samer can dig into it?

s3v3n7w0ParticipantHi Sean,
Thanks once again for your assistance.
To be clear, I do not have a rain sensor, and the checkbox for Rain Sensor under Weather Control is NOT checked.
I’ve attached my configuration export, with the weather underground key replaced with F’s.
My next scheduled run start tomorrow at 06:31 Pacific. I’m wondering if there is any guidance that could be suggested to login and poke around the shell in the event the sprinklers don’t automatically start.

**Edited reply to upload zipped backup, didn’t notice the json file was not permitted earlier.

s3v3n7w0ParticipantQuick update, the program started automatically today. Unsure what happened earlier this week. I will continue to monitor.
Thanks again for your kind attention Sean.
