So I’ve used linux for years. Bought an OSPi and an RPi, setup was no problem. But now I want to manage it and keep the Pi part (the debian/ubuntu side) updated. I could do it via SSH command line or set up something using ansible, but it seems like something which could be done/scheduled within the OpenSprinkler daemon (web services). Would love to have something which checks for updates and applies them on a schedule which does not conflict with run-times. I have also used Webmin in the past, so I could set up webmin, or maybe a daemon that checks for applicable updates and does something over API. Not really sure that this counts as “Third-Party” but couldn’t really think of a better place to bring this up.
