Hi OS Team and community, as my V2.3 DC works for more than 8 years with 18 Sonaloids stations and 40 Lights I have to admit that the creators did a tremendous job.

As you shall never touch running system i want to do so to put it behind a v-Lan. However.
Furthermore i like to make use of the MQTT capability in newer SW versions (as per my understanding).

I did follow your instructions on : https://openthings.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000832311-opensprinkler-2-x-firmware-update-guide
download even 3 different firmware os210, OS 212 and the latest os_221_rev4_avr1.hex.

With 4 different USB cables, 1 Windows machine AVRDUDE 8.1, another Linux (Mint)Machine AVRDUDE 7.1 + AVR DUDE 4.1….. i did an make it.

Thats at best case my output… i did try with 115000, lower, indeed change the usb ports… Play Lottery games on the B1 b2 b3 Button or in combination (even as documentet for lower than 2.3. I wont give up. I like that guy. Do some of zou have any idea that may help me ? :

one of my ide i had in mind if a external usb hub will help for power supply or power the device directly via the 12 volt.any idea will be appreciated .

    Problem solved.
I did remove the small battery, “softly” shorten the cap AND (!) removed the sd card.
What was not working for the last 10 hours works in 8 second. Re insert the SD card. Voila,,,,,
Just like to give this update in case others face the same issue.

    Cheers from Thailand
