Valve doesn't stay open

Hi,

I have an open sprinkler Bee, using a non-latching 12V/3W valve, but the bee seems to have some trouble keeping the valve open (not connected to water pressure yet). It just opens and closes in about 1/2 a second.

Its almost as if it is in latch valve mode, but I have set the bee to non-latch. Trying the latch mode does sound like the valve opens/ closes marginally quicker, so suggests to me the bee is sucesfully switching between modes.

Any obvious mistakes?

Note that to use OSBee with Non-Latching valves, there are two things you need to do:
– In software, set valve type to Non-Latching.
– In hardware, solder the Non-Latch jumper. Without the non-latch jumper, it can’t provide holding current to keep the valve running.
