SamerKeymasterAre you using OSPi with Dan’s program or Arduino based OpenSprinkler?
Make sure all software is up to date. If your using OSPi, you probably need to enable the mobile app plugin. Please consult other threads regarding this process.

baker195ParticipantWill review other threads- Im using Opensprinkler- Arduino
– Solved problem by adding an interval to the water program…but now have new issueI am able to set up water program + interval = program shows it is “active” – but when the start time
arrives the program does not open value or any of the other valves either..
> but I can run the program in manual mode and all valves work…Have programed the system via the app and going to the url ip of 192.168….
I missed a step -please advise

SamerKeymasterAh yes, the interval cannot be zero or the program won’t run. Also, make sure the program is marked as enabled and also make sure manual mode is off. If manual mode is enabled then no scheduled programs will run.

baker195ParticipantThank-you. Will try again this afternoon when I get home.

baker195ParticipantWater Program not turning on at set time:
Interval is set to a great value then 0
program 1 is enabled
manual mode is offhave tried 4 times to have system come on at set time…
> I did try the manual mode…and the valves all turned on…
I am sure it’s user error…what is my next step(s) to resolve?

SamerKeymasterWell, is this issue only occurring with the mobile app? Is your program showing up on the controller’s main interface? Let’s remove the mobile app out of the equation if we can.

baker195ParticipantA buddy of mine came over and said your clock on the computer needs to be set to the correct GMT time …
before it was set -4 and now it’s set to -7 which works for Napa Valley… so now the system is working…I guess for newbies like me…I need a step by step guide…I just assumed when you set up the program with your current time…it changed teh GMT time…too…
Thanks

SamerKeymasterAh okay thanks for letting us know the problem! Glad it’s working now.

rncMemberI have what I think is a similar problem. I have an OSPi and I’m using the mobile app. I am trying to set my time based on GMT (ie. EST), but when I enter -5 or -4, the app does not update the controllers time (time is still shown at GMT 12). Any ideas?
thanksJuly 20, 2014 at 11:09 pm #26776
SamerKeymasterThe timezone for OSPi is changed via the operating system and not the app.
In the future, I might hide that option in the mobile app for OSPi users.
