    Hi all,

Usually, enabling access to your OSPi Web UI from outside your home network requires port forwarding.

Our project Yaler provides a simpler way to enable Web and SSH access from everywhere, via Ethernet, WiFi, 3G…

E.g. the steps in https://yaler.net/raspi allow access to my OSPi at http://tamberg-ospi.yaler.net/ (504 or empty page = offline).

The mobile UI at http://rayshobby.net/apps/sprinklers also works via Yaler, just enter HOST:80 instead of IP:80, and the default password.

What do you think, could this simplify existing use cases, or enable new ones?

    Kind regards,
    tamberg

PS. This works for OSBo, too – see viewtopic.php?f=34&t=408 (and sorry for “cross posting”)

Cool, thanks for sharing your work. I am traveling this week and will give it a try as soon as I can. Thanks.
