    Hi,

I am working on a project where I need top setup an irrigation system without pressurized water. I googled a bit and it seems like using a peristaltic pump to draw the water form the tank would be a nice solution.

The problem is that 24VAC peristaltic pumps aren’t that common. To be more exact, I wasn’t able to find any of them online…

Any idea where to buy a 24VAC pump? Or how to connect a DC pump to the sprinkler? I am using the OSPI version.

    thanks

I am not familiar with peristaltic pump at all so I don’t know what voltage or current it runs at. You can always use a pump start relay, such that OpenSprinkler switches the pump start relay, and that relay in turn switches your pump. This is how sprinkler controllers interface with high-voltage pumps in general.
