    Hello.
I have reverse engineered my water meter that transmits water consumption measurements over wifi.
I have a Ubiquiti device with OpenWRT currently intercepting the communication and storing it locally on my server.

I have been looking into moving to OpenSprinkler for a while and would like to use it for the sniffing job instead.
Is that something that can be achieved with the “standard” OpenSprinkler? If not I might be looking into the Pi version, I simply want to know which one to get.

    Thanks!

Any pointer to a document or article about what kind of signals the water meter sends through WiFi? If it’s relatively simple, it should be possible to add it to OS 3.0. Otherwise Pi is the best platform.

    Hi.
Thanks, yeah, I have been working on an article that describe the process and the results (and the source code), I am waiting for an answer about publishing it but meanwhile it’s accessible here:

    Hi again.
I am wondering how simple would it be to implement it with the O.S 3.0?

    Thanks
