After more than a year of trouble-free operation, last night my OSPi hit a snag… the third zone (out of three) turned on and never turned off. I noticed it an hour later and was able to get it to close by requesting a manual 10-second cycle. Have you guys ever seen that with an OSPi? Where the software thinks it shut off a zone but the valve stayed open? I didn’t go test it with a volt meter but I’m guessing that the OSPi was still delivering 24v to the valve. How can I prevent that in the future?

Update: it’s not the OSPi’s fault. 🙂 It happened again tonight and so I diagnosed it… it turns out the OSPi turned off the circuit properly but there was a defective valve that decided to stay open anyway.
