biaggi, question: How exactly did you end up wiring your garage door opener? I too am trying to run a station to my garage door wall console. I have a very basic Overhead Door set-up and don’t know which wires in my 18/2 wire need to go where. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Pictures are excellent if you have them!

Right, I’m sorry for not being direct in my original post where I reference Ray’s relay post. So if I use the Omron relay, how exactly do I install it?

Agreed, I see the benefits of not using relays…however, if relays were to be used are you familiar with how to wire one up? Also, on the garage door, are you familiar with how to wire that directly from the OS to the simple wall console button?
