fizgig10ParticipantGrr. You’re right 🙂
I had installed 1.0 previously and it must have changed the files for me. Thanks for your help!
fizgig10ParticipantI thought I got it from the source: https://github.com/rayshobby/opensprinkler/tree/master/OpenSprinkler%20Controller/software/libraries/OpenSprinkler/examples/interval_program
fizgig10ParticipantWeird. I would have thought that the current that guaruntees the triac to be on would be called the “minimum” gate current, not the maximum. And then I’d expect to see a maximum gate current that wont damage the triac. Strange.
fizgig10ParticipantAh yeah. Ok, so let’s assume the lower 1V drop. It then becomes 2.3 / 220 which is a bit over 10mA which is still higher than the 5-7mA isn’t it?
fizgig10ParticipantGotcha. Thanks. Amazing product. Very clever!
I am tempted to install a web server somewhere on their property to serve the files. Perhaps I can add it to the ddwrt router I already have installed over there. You ever hear of someone doing something like that?
fizgig10ParticipantI understand the unit operates the set programs with or without a connection. I’m wondering what happens if you want to go into the settings and modify the programs or do other configuration tasks. Is that just a no go without internet? Is any configuration possible without internet?
fizgig10Participant10mA? You’re kidding! Wow.
2.0 version is coming out soon? Will there be a solder kit version? The one I just put together was super easy – only took about an hour. Was bummed when I read that you were phasing out the 1.42u as it is so cost effective!
Is there a link that talks about what 2.0 will be like?
fizgig10ParticipantCrap. Just noticed that the 1.8.3 update removes that icon: http://rayshobby.net/?page_id=3775#lcd
