pierantonioParticipantHello salbahra!
Yes from my desktop browser i can connect and the browser present me a popup for insert the user and the password.
I followed the @nayr wiki, i have created 2 certs ssl, i don’t use the ssl tls client.
I definitely something wrong, but i don’t know.
I have tried with my Iphone ios7 and Lumia WP8 of my wife 😉
In my firewall i have the port 443 open, is it correct or wrong?
for connection with the app have tried user:pass.dyndns.org:443 and also only dyndns.org:443…thanks again for the help 🙂
pierantonioParticipantsorry, can you explain me how should i do to setup ssl with Apache2 like yours? sorry but i’m a newbie in linux..
if u can, thanks again salbahra!byee
pierantonioParticipantThank U very much salbahra!
i look forward 😉byeeee
Pierantonio
pierantonioParticipanthy salbahra, don’t worry. 😉
I tried with auth and i entered my credentials but does not work.
I have selected also SSL, i don’t know…
later i try to disengage the firehol firewall into mi Ospi, we’ll see..thanks again byee
pierantonioParticipantHi salbahra, thanks for your fantastic mobile app Sprinklers!! it’s gorgeous!! 😀
I don’t know a thing, when i connect to my ip using dyndns.org i can’t connect with secure method nginx explained by nayr, i select auth and ssl button in the app but i can’t.Whats wrong? i use this syntax: user:[email protected]:port
is it correct?
if i use the normal method without nginx and using normal http it works perfectly.
thanks again
bye
pierantonioParticipantHello nayr, thanks for you reply.
Now at the moment i had set the firehol.conf and the port 8080 is open and also the 443.
In my case i use dyndns.org, my router forward the port 8080 to Ospi.
I have now also open on the router the port 443 but I have not tried it yet if it works.
I created the 3 certificates and put in their folders, but i don’t understand if it is correct.
certificates must be created in a special way? i used the command line for create with command openssl genrsa – des3 ecc..
my Ospi is connected by ethernet cable, not wifi.
thanks again, bye
pierantonioParticipantHello nayr, i followed your guide nginx for secure ospi, but when i enable the firehol i don’t access to the web page , i use the interval program on ports 8080
What’s wrong?
i have a domain with dyndns.org, in my router the ports 8080 is open because the port 80 is busy for another service.
if i disable the firehol works perfectly but did not warn of any ssl certs? is correct? i use safari, but is the same with firefox
I’m a newbie in security, sorry for my questions..
can you help me?
thanks bye..February 28, 2014 at 12:48 pm in reply to: OSPi – Interval – Garage Door Sensing and Control – Success #24922

pierantonioParticipanthello, fantastic this project, but i don’t understand a thing.
I need to put only the garage state on the homepage and I did it, but the garage door indicator is always open, what’s wrong?
If I launch the python script “readpins.py” correctly indicates the status open or closed.
I’m a newbie in python, someone can help me please?
Thanks in advance!!Pierantonio
