aloha trying to follow instructions to update firmware for open sprinkler.Installed virtual box and your mint version.I’m not clear on the next steps.Do I install 2.0.2 or do I have to install a previous firmware update first?Does the update need to be downloaded from git hub within mint or on windows?Where should the files be placed? Looking ahead to make sure I get it right when I click devices-usb- I see no usbtiny.Does uabtiny only show up when open sprinkler is pluged in to my computer?some guidance appreaciated thanks rwp.
this is correct. OSPi setup working and now you are trying to get an OpenSprinkler 2.0 (not the Raspberry Pi model) with logging using my app? If so, just install a web server on your Windows machine (IIS, Apache, etc.), install PHP, and clone my files to the web root.So I’ve managed to activate iis and have access to it’s management console but from there I am way beyond my pay grade.install php from who and where?what does clone mean”copy??”and where,what is the web root.

Your server.I am using a win 7 pc.Do I have to create?,add? A server on my pc.How do I do this?I need the logging and like the app.I have an ospi up and running with an edimax wifi adapter.Bought an open sprinkler assembled version and several expansion boards but now To make it wifi the edimax won’t work.?why? The manual recommended wifi adapter and any search for such returns many adapters similar to the edimax.I assumed when talking about powering an adapter ability from the open sprinkler it would work like the ospi.There should be specific instructions that common wifi adapters won’t work and another 25$ is required.Even then still no steps for installation or the difference in adapters.
