XerogasParticipantHi Ray, I guess I have a much older model of your daughterboard, because it fits my old Pi just fine. The standoffs are arranged in an asymmetrical pattern. It was back in 2013, for an OSPi v1.2
XerogasParticipantI have the RPi3, and it works fine from the standpoint of controlling my sprinklers. What I don’t like is that the mounting posts don’t align, so the RPi3 is just dangling by some wires in my garage.

XerogasParticipantI’ve had mine connected for a couple days now, but the logs do not show that it has fired up any sprinklers yet. It’s on an interval of 2 (days, I guess), and there’s only one schedule configured. The schedule shows it starting at 6:30 am

XerogasParticipantYes!!!
So I feel silly now…turns out sprinklers_pi starts up in demo mode, which doesn’t actually drive the solenoids.
From the thread:
“The system starts up in demo mode (i.e. it won’t actually switch outputs). To change the output type go to the Settings and change the Output type to “OpenSprinkler” (assuming you’re using the OpenSprinklerPi module).”
XerogasParticipantOK, thanks, ospi_selftest indeed puts 28VAC onto each station terminal for 10 seconds, one after the other.
I had installed sprinklers_pi 1.0.6 using the instructions here: https://github.com/rszimm/sprinklers_pi/wiki/Installation
So for some reason, that software is not turning on the solenoids…
