I’m having the same problem lists as above-cannot get to the opensprinkler GUI using port 8080 on my browser.
I can get to the firmware page by going to the local IP.
I have tried it on a few different computers with different browsers. All the same results.
I updated Raspbian to Jessie by following this article:

And then updated Open Sprinkler by following this article:
https://openthings.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000631599-installing-and-updating-the-unified-firmware
No change.
I was able to login in last week. I think if may have stopped working when I clicke dujp an update firmware link. It did not seem like it did anything but it doesn’t work now.
I am running Open Sprinkler Pi. Love it (when it works)!
