Hi all, I have a bit of an older OSPi daughter board – v1.42+. Wondering if this is compatible with a Raspberry Pi 3 B+?

Seems all I have available to me are Raspberry Pi Model B+ (not a 2, not a 3), so it’s time to upgrade and wondering if it’s OK to do so on an older OSPi board?

    Thanks

    Hi Pat,

It would work OK, but just note that if you are going to use the on-board WiFi, you will have to provide extra power to the USB port on the Pi.

    Regards,

    Francois.

Thanks. I forgot I had a Raspberry Pi B (not B+), and it’s working just fine even with the WiFi.

    Good to go, thanks again

    Hi Pat,
did you try your old OSPi with the new Raspberry Pi 3B+? Is it working well? Do you need to provide power to USB port in order to have wifi work properly?
    Thank you, Francesco
