951calguyParticipantAre you located in California? If so, where at?
951calguyParticipantHello Digitalbits,
Where could I find a step by step on how to do this?
Thank you.
951calguyParticipantI can’t wait for the next OSPi, once the display, flow, current sensing are integrated it will be a good controller even for light commercial applications.
951calguyParticipantCosmacelf, how can I get my hands on your program?
951calguyParticipantIm sure he is asking about a 3g or 4g connection to the OSPi like using a 3g hat for thr raslberry. I never got help on this but was able to connect using a 3g routher and vpn .
951calguyParticipantThe ability to read current on a OSPi wold also make for a great tool for troubleshooting.
951calguyParticipantIn commercial irrigation timers this feature is called “learn flow” it is ran once when the system is free of breaks and dialed in, values are stored in a per station basis and used as a starting point then a % treshold is set because we wont get the exact seme result every time we run the system. I have also been waiting and requesting this feature for a very long time. This would be the only way to go to the next step where notifications can be set for no flow, low flow, high flow, if no stations are running and there is flow then it would be a broken main line and an action can be taken if a master valve is installed kike shutting the water off of save tons of water.
951calguyParticipantI second that request. I had asked in the past but there was no one to help. We do need a screen and shouldnt worry about case or enclosure.
Thank you.
951calguyParticipantWhich display are you using? Could you share info on how you got it to work?

951calguyParticipantI am interested on this as well.

951calguyParticipantDid you find a solution to this issue? Let me know I may be able to help.
951calguyParticipantCan anyone else help with this?
951calguyParticipantI speak spanish but may be limited on what I can help you with. What is it that you need?
951calguyParticipantAfter going crazy for almost a week and knowing that I had it working before, I realized it was just a damned “/” at the end.
Thank you Samer.
951calguyParticipantthanks Ray. I have been able to build my own OSPi but I am not that technical yet, so any way to tell me exactly where these parts would go on the board? Also part numbers and where to get them from? Thank you again Ray.
951calguyParticipantanyone? is this accomplished with a simple .htaccess file or is it more involved?
instructions are not that clear for noobs like me to have to ui served locally, like where to put the files on the sd card and what exactly enter on the http://os_ip/su all it says is . (dot) no idea what that is.
951calguyParticipantHello Richard,
Here is the info I could get including some relay devices that may work with these type of flow sensor, I do understand that OS counts pulses but I don’t understand how the controllers that use these type of sensors have 2 ports where polarity does matter and there is actual dc voltage going to the sensor. Please check them and notice the 2 leads with color. Thank you I’m looking forward to your reply.

951calguyParticipantThere are also wireless rain sensors if needed.
951calguyParticipantCould anyone help with this? I am really interested on getting a way to use either hunter, cst, or data industrial flow sensors.
951calguyParticipantCould you please elaborate on how you are making that sensor work with OS? maybe a step by step? I have been trying to use data industrial or cst sensors unsuccessfully.
Thank you.
951calguyParticipantMost enclosures out in the middle of nowhere where cellular connection would be used are made out of stainless steel, this unfortunately completely cancels the cell signal inside of them, the good thing is that commercial irrigation controllers have an external “pancake” antenna. The shield above would be awesome if I new how to integrate the code to make it work with opensprinkler and also how to physically connect it.
951calguyParticipanthttp://wiki.seeed.cc/Xadow_GSMPlusBLE/ Ray I found this little guy a while back and I was hoping you could tell me if it will also require a ton of modifications to get to work with OS, please take a look and let me know as I am still looking at an option for gsm connection instead of wifi or ethernet. Thanks.
951calguyParticipantYes I thought I had posted the links but I will post them again, over a year ago I sent you one of these flow sensors. The links are on the first post Ray.
951calguyParticipantYes I thought I had posted the links but I will post them again, over a year ago I sent you one of these flow sensors.
951calguyParticipantThese sensors only have 2 wires a black and a red.
