    Samer,

Thank you for your help. Your solution worked like a charm.

Please forgive me, since I am a complete noob and know next to nothing about all this, may i ask a few questions?
Was the port number changed in this new build from the previous build?
Also, I thought port 8080 was the default port for web servers or am I mistaken?

Lastly, i really do appreciate your help and the time you have taken to help myself and all other users of your software.

I will try that tonight when i get home.

If that does not work, by chance do you have any other idea’s on what I should try?

I did not specify any port number from a web browser, and from my understanding, it should then default to 8080. As for the Android app, there is not an option for port number. I know when entering the IP address, one can add on the port number, but i did not try that.

Also, I tried to connect to the OSPI using both the IP address and the Pi name (which is OSPI).

I am having a similar issue. The app does not seem to work when using Google chrome on Linux mint and the android phone app does not work either.

I updated my system (running on a Pi2B+) and I got no errors during the upgrade.

However now, the web app nor the android app can connect to opensprinkler. When i check the status of the opensprinker service on the pi, it shows all green, no errors.

    Any idea’s?

    Ray, Samer,

    Thank you both.

I just updated the firmware following the guide at https://opensprinkler.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000631599-installing-and-updating-the-unified-firmware#upgrade

However, now it appears the app is not working. The pi is on the network and can see and be seen by other members of the network. However it is almost as if the “web server” on the pi is not working.

There were no errors in the building of opensprinkler. The were no errors with the pulldown from github. there were no errors when i restarted the service. Checking the status of the service returns that everything is running. But yet the app (the control webpage and the android app) always comes back as not found.

    Any idea’s?

    Samer,

Thank you for the fast reply. I will wait a few days and then updated my firmware to fix my issue.
