Description

USB-Serial programmer for programming OpenSprinkler, OpenGarage, and RFToy devices via a USB cable, as well as for checking serial debugging data. This programmer is based on CH340. It has a microUSB connector, and a card edge connector which can plug directly into the above devices.

Note: for routine firmware updates, you don’t need this programmer as the above devices all support Over-the-Air (OTA) firmware update. This programmer is handy when you need to upload a firmware via USB, or when you need to display serial debugging messages.

On the top side, the three pins on the card edge connector are TX (device side), +5V, GPIO0, and the bottom three pins are RX (device side), GND, RST/EN.
