@Ray: is there any plan to include more topics in next FW version? and if yes which one?

maybe also a “still” alive topic which tell the broker if the OS is still connected every 5 (or whatever) minutes would be nice.

I found a solution. you need to use newer avrdude version.
I useed that one http://downloads.arduino.cc/tools/avrdude-6.3.0-arduino17-x86_64-apple-darwin12.tar.bz2 and it works.
You only need to change the command a bit as the conf file is in that zip on different folder.

    ./avrdude -C ../etc/avrdude.conf -c arduino -p m1284p -P /dev/tty.wchusbserial1410 -U flash:w:os_219_4.hex

maybe Ray can change the documentation for FW updates on MAC and include that informations.

its looks loks like that this avrdude is 32 Bit executable. right?

    file ./avrdude
    ./avrdude: Mach-O universal binary with 2 architectures: [i386:Mach-O executable i386] [ppc:Mach-O executable ppc]
    ./avrdude (for architecture i386): Mach-O executable i386
./avrdude (for architecture ppc): Mach-O executable ppc

macOS Catalina (10.15) dropped support for 32-bit executables 🙁

is there any workaround. i guess i`m not the only user which runs MacOS in that version.

its looks like that the PR is now merged to master. Is it right?
Means we can expect soon a release of FW?
Maybe it is a option you offer somehow compiled FW with beta flag for testing? In that case i would like to offer myself as beta tester.

    Hi Ray,
Thx for answer. Yeah that pandemic is hard for all.
Thx that you still working and in business.
One more question. You say “But will hopefully catch up soon!” can you tell if we are talking aboout August or End of year for release of that new FW with MQQT support. Just ask to see if i should go for a workarround with http requests before or if i should wait.
Other question. The mqqt Support is only for sending status changes or you plan also to recive MQQT Topics to start stations or programs and to set rain delay using mqtt.

    Hi pbecchi,

    i run a openspriunkler HW version 2.3
is it possible to connect yor LoRa SmartSolenoids to that? How its works and what would be the price including shipping to germany?
is there any documentation available to see how that is “wired”/conencted and how its works?

But how can i get the Weather Data from my Netatmo Weather Station to OWM?
Problem here in my area is even if the OWM side say it was or is raining in my city that on my street it was not rain and i need to water.
That was the reason for me to buy opensprinkler and connect my Netatmo to wunderground. With that i was able to get data from exact my place.
how that will work now with OWM? or i now need to invest again and buy a other system?
perfect for me would be a direct integration of Netatmo Wether stations. But as i’m not a programmer i cant script that by my own.

@OpenSprinkler Team: is there any Plan to integrate Netatmo direkt to OpenSprinkler?
As i`m not the programming guy i cant do by my own, but i think it would be a big benefit, special as it remove one dependency from system.
Right now wunderground here for my station is working, but not sure how long or when they will cut that also. (until now i not understand why some stations are working and some not)

my netatmo is still visible in wunderground Nd its looks like that also my API key is still working. i only see that from time to time in last weeks the wunderground shows a connection error.

Yeah a direct Natatmo support would be great. I also bought Netatmo to use it with Opensprinkler over wunderground.
