Another tipp for better wifi:
– When connecting, when you access the 192.168.4.1 page, select your wifi, enter your password AND CLEAR THE CHANNEL (last field)
– If using a Fritz!Box: Disable “WLAN-Übertragung für Live TV optimieren” under the wifi channel menuHi,
regarding the enc28hj60 module I made some new builds.
1. the UIPEthernet project updated the Ethernet library to version 2.0.9 (former 2.0.8) and fixed some bugs

Some of my customers also have the problem that after some time OpenSprinkler cannot reconnect.
However, instead of trying to reconnect again and again, I take a different approach. If no WiFi connection is established after 120s, WiFi is deactivated for 5min, 10min, 20min and finally 40min, in between connection attempts with 120s connection time.The firmware is based on the very latest git master version of today. So I am looking for some testers for the firmware.

Have you tried zone ports 5,6,7,8 ?Hi Nick, please unscrew a solenoid from a valve and connect it directly to the OpenSprinkler COM and Zone 1, remove the other cables beforehand. Activate the zone and you should hear a click and hum. The display should show approx. 200-300mA. If everything is ok, test the other valves in the same way. If everything works, then there must be a cable problem, possibly a short circuit.
If the solenoid does not work, then either the solenoid is broken or the OpenSprinkler is broken.Check the french version of the handbook:
