“I restored backup from iPad but all but part of one station name gone. One program was missing until after closing app and connecting again” had to restore twice to get it to restore station names (first time Around-Garden restored as Garden and all others didn’t restore), but then programs scrambled. I would say duplicated but I don’t think every program was there twice. I did notice that the last program on the first restore had a different interval time. 4:10 instead of 4:00. I didn’t try fixing manually. I needed it back today. A bit more complicated schedule. Laying more sod. Can test more tonight.

Nevermind email of config backup opened on a different screen. Where saving to local device without prompting? Still issues with how it handled config restore.
Trouble here as well. Lost settings. I thought they were starting to be kept during upgrades. I restored backup from iPad but all but part of one station name gone. One program was missing until after closing app and connecting again.
Time to upgrade then. I like the idea of a common GUI. Btw, I am not sure if this is addressed in that logging change. But shutting of all valves by disabling manual mode didn’t log either. I still think it would be good to log start times so you can at least tell a run started.
Ok. Cool. That works but when I open preview it starts at the first scheduled program for tomorrow instead of at the current time.
Hm, how many valves should I be able to control at once? If seq disabled, device does restart when turning off a station when two are enabled in manual mode…but it doesn’t happen if seq is enabled and run from manual mode.
For me data as text in body of email.
Btw, until I save a program, the red highlighting doesn’t show on disabled programs.

It indeed only happens with seq off. Surprising. All connected to expansion module.

I haven’t tried it with seq on. I need to run with it off now because garden beds currently should run at same time. I can test with seq on to see if it makes a diff.

Non-PI. Micro controller version. 2.1s. Been in use just over a month. On 2.0.7 release. Just thought of another variable. All my stations currently connected to the expansion board I ordered at the same time. Maybe the expansion board doesn’t get logged with sequential off.
Ok. So one disadvantage of arduino version. I guess I still have to open to get logs.
Red was missing. Fixed overnight somehow. Had done reboot. Maybe that was it.

Got it to update from my old Win7 x86 laptop once I got it to install the driver correctly.
Not sure what the problem is/was on my mac.
2011 MacBook here. Do you know how to check that the OS device is found in osx. Haven’t needed to do that. Easy in windows. I’ll try another computer tonight. Didn’t want to deal with installing a driver. Would having SD card installed affect? I tried removing it before restarted computer. Still didn’t work.
