vinnyParticipantI just turned off the weather control now for now. and just going to let it go on a fixed schedule too.
Right now where i live (Silicon valley) its cold in the night but very hot in the day, and the zimmerman method basically turns off the water.
I am thinking that a simple modification might be to just use MAX temperature instead of mean temperature, and lower the effect of humidity.
vinnyParticipanti was having the same issue. Try rebooting the sprinkler.
I think they know about this issue.
vinnyParticipantyeah i have sunrise times set i can turn that off and try again
Now i tried to change the start time to a fixed time, and it will not let me. I am fine with the sunrise offset though.

vinnyParticipantI had a similar problem today, it was raining outside and the weather adjustment said 52% (it always says 52%) i rebooted the device, and now its reading correctly.
Seems like it was getting the weather info too frequently before the update now its not doing it enough.
vinnyParticipantThere is an audrino zeroconf version available so it should be possible.
vinnyParticipantThanks, its working now. Its now saying 31% so it seems good now.
vinnyParticipanti need this too. This restriction starts in July as far as i can tell.
I certainly can do this manually.
vinnyParticipantI am having the exact same issue as dankeen (hey dan) above.
I have the sprinkler set to DHCP and it seems to be working fine. it has a static address configured on the router.
This was working last week as far as i can tell, it has recently stopped working. Nothing has changed on my end, the router and the open sprinkler are configured exactly as they were.
vinnyParticipantNew version of the OS, this causes a crash in Settings. when you edit Privacy->LocationServices->Opensprinkler.
This is causing Settings to crash, its going to get fixed latter but not now.
I didn’t want to post this to all.
vinnyParticipantIts more about turning the sprinkler on/off for the season.
vinnyParticipantI just checked mine again too. and everything looks good.
Bet it was some sort of caching bug, and the cache has cleared.
vinnyParticipantI think that this is a Safari (Javascript core issue). there are some posts on the net about the javascript engine (on the mac) not handling dst properly.
my router webpage has the same issue in safari, but not in chrome. both chrome and safari use webkit, but the difference is that google did there own javascript interpreter (I am not 100% sure but i think that is the issue)
vinnyParticipantworked for me too.
vinnyParticipantI am seeing the same issues.
vinnyParticipantThe sprinkler LCD has the correct time on it. The UI is off by 1 hour. So yes i agree its a UI issue.
vinnyParticipantyup its fixed. thanks for the very fast bug fix.
vinnyParticipanti edited it out but the pws == pws:KCASANJO122
vinnyParticipantHere is my setup

vinnyParticipantActually its not working, i have mine set to run only on even days. (It ran today)
The preview shows up for today, but if i switch to oct 20th, i see nothing in the preview
I just see the message “No stations set to run on this day”
same thing that happened today, after they ran it was fine.
I would guess that there is a bug in the code that only applies the weather info to the display for the current day. (just a guess)
vinnyParticipantIts working now. I assume that you updated something.
vinnyParticipantthe web version lets you preview nothing.
I just see the message “No stations set to run on this day” for all days.
Maybe its this error
[Warning] Unexpected CSS token: : (app.cgz, line 1)
I get the same results on both Safari and Chrome on my mac.
vinnyParticipantnot working for me i get this error in the console
[Error] SyntaxError: Invalid regular expression: unmatched parentheses
(anonymous function) (jqm.jgz, line 1)
vinnyParticipantThe old app used to show the last zone that ran and said how long it ran for.
Short of adding an sd card to get logging, could we get that feature back? (Show last ran station and duration???)
The new software (Firmware and the app) are awesome. i am hoping i can just leave the sprinkler on all year and not worry about it at all.
thanks.
vinnyParticipantCan we get a link that takes you to the new posts since last visit?? (Maybe i just missed it)

If you don’t have SD card, the log will be empty. Will check the issue about spinning icon, but there won’t be any log data if you don’t provide a SD card.
Which NTP IP did you change it to? I tried a different one and it seems to work fine, I didn’t see the UI hanging. One possibility is that if you changed NTP server to one that’s invalid or inaccessible, the controller may be trying to reach that server and eventually timeout. Meanwhile the UI may freeze until the controller times out.
Yeah that is it, i was trying to change it to time.apple.com, and pings to it are failing.
NTP is working fine now. [time.apple.com is working, (You can’t ping it), but it is working now, don’t know what was happening before]
when i try to view the logs it just spins. (I don’t have an SD Card so i don’t expect to see the logs, but it is not expected that the thing spins all of the time.
