rjalexParticipantWOW would have never thought of such a case ! 🙂 This is the beauty of collaborative development where the needs, observations and solutions from many different people come toghether in a great product 🙂
May I ask what would be the need to water deep in the night ? Generally speaking night water conduces to easier fungal infections. Love to learn something new.
Thanks.
rjalexParticipantOnce you explained the why it’s perfectly logic. Thank you
rjalexParticipantThank you very much Ray !
rjalexParticipantNo worries and thank you very much for helping !
rjalexParticipantAw ok thanks a lot. I thought the settings were lost as per an explicit warning on the manual page ! So much better ! 🙂
Take care
rjalexParticipantYou mean a local reading only ? Any example of a device that fits your description ?
I originally meant something that could be “read” by the Arduino and added to its internet page 🙂
Thank you very much !

c ter) How do I know which HW version I have ?
Open a browser, type in the controller’s IP address, and you should see the homepage. The first line of text on the home page specifies the firmware version.
d) I do not understand how to use the Weather button. It does not seem to do anything,
The weather button should open a new page that shows the WUnderground weather report. It doesn’t do anything yet, just to show weather for your information.
Sorry maybe my English was confusing. I meant to know the Hardware version. Maybe 2.1u ??
Not sure I understand. When I click Weather nothing at all happens. Might it be a problem since I’m using Safari on a Mavericks Mac ? Or might it be because my location “Rome, IT” not being USA is not found ??
Thank you very much.
rjalexParticipantLOL end users like me can far surpass your imagination ! 🙂
I did not even look at the back and screwed the whole unit on the panel thus could not see the screws at the back !
So it’s unscrewing time for me ! 🙂
Thank you
PS Maybe pry is not the right term. English not my language. I meant to say that I thought the enclosure would “click” onto its base or something like that.
rjalexParticipantThank you very much for the iPhone app !!!
Just got my OpenSprinkler and am understanding how to use it and have just configured your app which seems to work very well !
One question though: does the app choose a language automatically ? Even though I live in Italy I do like all of my software to be in English but the your app gives me all menus in Italian and I could not find an option to choose otherwise.
Take care !
rjalexParticipantYep here in Europe the mains grid runs at 220V and 50 Hertz. Thanks
rjalexParticipantOh yes please do implement this feature when you can !!! 🙂
